While a smartphone, tablet, or computer can be a hugely productive tool, compulsive use of these devices can interfere with your daily life, work, and relationships. When you spend more time on social media or playing games than interacting with real people, or when you can’t stop repeatedly checking texts, emails, websites, or apps, maybe it is time to reassess your technology use.

In this brief story, I would like to introduce some distinctive yet delicious dishes from two island nations, Taiwan and Japan.
